You can delete your Fauda account here without opening the app. You sign in with your Google account, see your account's status first, then confirm. Signing in on its own deletes nothing.

If you delete your account, your profile, photos, matches and messages are deleted and no one can see you any more.

- Your chats are deleted for the other person too.
- If there is an open report about you, deletion may wait until the 30th day at the latest. Your data may stay in our security backups for up to 30 more days, then it is deleted automatically.

Deleting in the app
“Delete my account” in the app does the same thing; the steps and the result are the same as described here.
What is deleted
- Your profile: your name, date of birth, intent, answers to profile questions and photos.
- Your matches and messages. The chat is deleted for the other person too.
- Your face verification records and sessions.
What remains, and for how long
- You can change your mind within 15 days of your request; after that your data is deleted. If there is an open report about you, deletion may wait until the 30th day at the latest.
- Your data may stay in our security backups for up to 30 more days; backups are used only to restore the service after a failure or an attack, and are deleted automatically when that period ends.
- If you were banned or your account was closed because you are under 18, a one-way hash of your Google account ID is kept for 2 years to stop you signing up again with the same Google account.
- If someone blocked you, the same hash is kept so that you don't appear to them again if you sign up again with the same Google account, for as long as their account stays open and for at most 2 years.
- Server logs: 90 days.
- Reported messages: kept with the report until it is resolved. If the person who reported them deletes their account, a copy of the messages they chose stays attached to the report and is deleted when the report is closed; the reporter's identity is removed from the report. In cases reported to the authorities, the reported messages are kept for 2 years, even if the accounts are deleted.
- Moderation and enforcement records: 2 years.

Signing in with Google
Google's sign-in script loads only on this page and only when you press “Sign in with Google”. From Google we receive only the verified ID needed to find your account; we don't keep your email address or name. This page sets no cookies and saves nothing in your browser; Google's own sign-in window follows Google's rules.

If you no longer have access to the Google account you used for Fauda, write to info@fauda.app; we answer your request within 30 days at the latest.
